So I can't honestly tell you how I came to find this website only that I was blown away by the beautiful Artisan Jewelry. I bookmarked it awhile ago thinking how wonderful some stacking birthstone rings would be for a Mother's Day Gift from my boys. Granted I will have 4 boys and short fingers so I was not sure if 4 full rings would be too much for my hand. But Michele the designer/artist at Olive Bungalow even customizes to meet the needs of her customers. We chatted back and forth and came up with 2 rings that have 2 stones each that I can stack along with since I am still due mid June with the possibility of a month change depending on situations she graciously offered to exchange the June stone for the proper stone should I need to. Honestly it was refreshing chatting with her. In a society where is it hard to find things custom to your liking you often find the best fit and not what you 100% want.

But here is what I wanted and I can't wait to see the results.

My name is Michele and I'm a self-taught jewelry artist. I have been a fulltime jewelry designer for the past 9 years. During the past 9 years, I've sold my work both retail and wholesale.

All of the items on the site are handmade by me in my studio overlooking the desert and mountain range here in Arizona.

Every component in my jewelry is handcrafted by me. I create all my bezels from scratch. The accents on the jewelry are also handcrafted either by sheet or wire. When you purchase a piece of jewelry from me - it's all created from start to finish by me. I also use sturdy 20 gauge sterling silver in my jewelry. You are getting a substantial piece of silver in every item you purchase. The jewelry will last forever, the rings will not warp or bend. I won't use anything less than 20 gauge silver because I want your piece of jewelry to last a lifetime.

I use only eco-friendly, recycled and reclaimed sterling silver and gold. I use only natural and genuine fair trade gemstones(*) in my jewelry creations. I take pride in using only high-quality gemstones.

I am also a lapidary artist and cut and polish my own cabochons. I use these cabochons to create my one-of-a-kind pieces and they can be found on my one-of-a-kind page. I will try to update this page once a week (and possibly more often). When new items are added, I will update my blog page to notify you of new pieces.

I am constantly working on new designs and make an effort to add new pieces on a weekly basis. New items will be listing on the new items page.

*Fair Trade Gemstones and Diamonds are stones that are sourced ethically. All fair trade gemstones are traced back to the cutting center, and whenever possible traced back to the source mine. Workers who produce these gemstones have reasonable work hours and humane work conditions. Fair trade gemstones are tracked meticulously to ensure the process is honest and documented.
