Ella's Kitchen Review

We got a chance to review some products from Ella's Kitchen. I think Hands down Gabriel's favorites were the nibbly fingers and the cookies.  I like that the cookies and the nibbly fingers are individually wrapped to go nicely in the diaper bag.  But my favorite are these packs of baby food.  They are Organic and have a wonderful combination of goodies for the baby to test.  I love to pick up a few of the rice and fruit purees or the smoothie ones for when we are on the go.  They fit nicely in the diaper bag and Gabriel loves to just suck all the stuff out.  I do have some spoons that screw on the top but he likes the do it himself method better.  Personally I try not to leave home with out at least one of these in the bag.  They are great in a pinch.  I love that they come in different stages like other baby foods so the texture and consistency starts to get thicker with age to help with the transition to solid foods.  

In the photo above are some of the new flavors that Ella's Kitchen came up with.  I think Gabriel's favorite was the Oat Crumble out of all of them.

Our Thoughts~  Sorry I couldn't make myself do the before and after photos of my teeth I guess I was just way to self conscious of them.  But I do like that this system did lighten my teeth.  It is a little hard to hold in for the whole time because my mouth kept filling up with spit.  The first time I did accidentally put too much of the gel on so I was trying to spit it out instead of swallowing but once I got the hang of it I didn't have the issue of spit in my mouth because I was able to swallow without sucking down all the gel.  This is a fun kit and I do think it gives great results especially since they are on sale right now for about $40 it is a great system to try.

Our Thoughts~  I think this is a neat product.  Our little demonstrator here is Our Baby Gabriel.  He is my only child who didn't take off and start walking around 10.5-11 months.  He is now almost 13 months old and still really not interested in walking.  When we got offered to test this I was hoping that this would give him the confidence to take off and go but he really just loves jumping in it right now.  We are slowly getting more comfortable with the idea of walking but really right now Jumping is way more fun.  I really like that this product is lined with a very soft liner.  As you can see he is only in his diaper and I had no worries about him being uncomfortable as you can see he is grinning ear to ear.

I really like that the straps are adjustable.  My husband is a good half a foot taller than me if not a bit more and he has really really long arms so where I need it synched all the way up to be comfy for myself he can have it full extended and not have to bend over.

Like I said we are still testing and I do think I would have enjoyed this with my other boys.  I did get it embroidered with Sweetie because he is such a little sweetie but you can put your child's name on it to be a little more personal for you.

It came with a very nice satin carrying bag to let it fit in your diaper bag easily.

He loves to jump in it right now.

This is Daddy (almost 6 foot) with Gabriel and he can fully extend his arms and not have to bend over.

Our Thoughts~  This is a super easy program to download.  And Honestly I have not gotten anywhere near through all the things you can do.  I did play around and make a sample First year page for my little Gabriel boy.   I like that you can buy extra kits or even get free kits to add to your program on your computer. Here I made a pretty simple page with 3 photos.  First I chose the background paper. I really liked this blue with the texture then upload the photos.  I put a white boarder around them and had one photo over lay the other.  I looked at some of the embellishments like the buttons but thought this more plan look was great.  So I added a text in a white color I know it is a little hard to see.  It says Happy First Year Gabriel William Klauer and I off-set it at an angle.

I really want to scrap book the past 6 years one book for each year. I would love to sit down and just scrapbook and play with this. Now I just need someone to come watch my kids for a few hours or maybe days so I can get all the 6 books done. :D  You can make them on My Memories and then either print them with the company or you can save the book as a file on your computer and have it printed at your favorite printing place.  This is a really fun Digital Scrapbooking Software and now you have a chance to win your own copy of the Software.

Cleava Snap to Bra Cami Review

First let's start off with the neckline on some shirts are just way to pronounced for me.  Though the shirt is cute I sometimes shy away from getting it because I don't want to have to layer a full cami on top of a bra.  Again this isn't always the case some of the baggier shirts with a deep neck line I don't mind a full cami underneath.  But the more form fitting ones it just looks like I am adding bulk.

With the new Cleava Snap to Bra Cami I can now add a little flash to cover the cleavage and enjoy some of the more form fitting shirts without adding to the bulk.  This is especially nice in Summer when honestly you just want to run around in a swim suit top and shorts.  A few days this week would be great examples on not wanting to add more layers than you need.  With Wisconsin hitting 100 degrees for 3 days straight less is definitely more.  :D  I mean honestly we are in Wisconsin this is where the snow birds come back to to get away from the heat.

Infant/Toddler Costume Review

I know Halloween is a few months away but it is never to early to start nailing down what your kiddos want to be.  My 2 eldest son's decided that they wanted to be Star Wars Characters and well since the other 2 are a bit littler that I think it will still be fun to do a themed Halloween again.

Sorry for the sideways view. But this is how it comes in the package.

So the Klauer Klan will be Star Wars Characters.  I was offered the opportunity to review an Infant and Toddler Costume so the first of our kids is now outfitted for Halloween, with our many thanks to Costume Discounters.

Our thoughts~  Aside from the fact that my baby has got to be the cutest Yoda I have EVER seen.  I really like that the costume is very heavy duty.  It is not like the paper thin costumes you find at the BIG BOX stores.  I love that it is super roomy inside so that I can get his sweatpants and sweat shirt under (come on we live in Wisconsin... Skimpy outfits equal Popsicle kids).  With four kids to outfit I love looking online and finding discount costumes that are of great quality.  With Costume Discounters wide selection you can find the perfect out fit for you and your kiddos.   I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. The Tapi fit easily over our kitchen sink facet.   My 4 year old son, Troy, would pull a chair over to the sink and get a drink.  It was easy for him.  Instead of squeezing it, which he couldn’t do very well, he put his palm under it and that worked all the same.  

I found out, the hard way, that the more water pressure, the higher and further it shoots.  When I needed to remove it, it came off extremely easy.  Our family had fun with it.

Our Thoughts…

My son, Troy, had tubes in his ears for a year and half.  They have since been removed; however, his ears are still very sensitive to noise and water in them.  My daughter, Rylee, had tubes placed in February.  We received 3 Ear Band-It® Ultra and 4 pairs of PuttyBuddies® to try out. 

The Putty Buddies® are really neat.  They come in a wide variety of bold or neon colors.  That worked out great for us since we had 2 kids wearing them, we didn’t get them mixed up.  Rylee wore the Floating Putty Buddies® in Pool Princess Pink and Troy wore the Original Formula Putty Buddies® in Splash Puppy Blue.  We don’t have a preference over the designs.  They both worked great at keeping the water out and easily formed to their ears. 

The Ear Band-It® Ultras are amazing.  We recently went to a water park and had a hard time keeping ear plugs in the kids’ ears.  I really wish we would have had these!  The Ear Band-It® Ultras held the Putty Buddies® perfectly in place.  I think the best part of this product is that they didn’t shift, fall off or stretch out for the entire couple hours they wore them.  When we were done in the pool, the kids were able to take the Ear Band-It® Ultra off and get Putty Buddies® out easily and without my help. We also used the Putty Buddies® in the bathtub.  They worked so much better than cotton balls stuffed in there.  Their ears were left dry and they were happy!
