I love that the tools have their names on them (flat, Phillips, hammer, pliers, etc). Which makes it fun for your new little reader to read off the names. Not only is the toy made from recycled materials but the packaging is as well. What a great way to re purpose something that would have ended up in a land fill. Our Thoughts~ These are great Cost efficient diapers that All in one and One Size. Meaning that you only have to purchase one set to get you from Birth to Potty training. With the One Size you can adjust the rise to meet your growing babies needs. These diapers come with a microfiber insert. If you have a child that is a heavy wetter you may need to get a doubler. These diapers are slim fitting and are not as bulky as some other brands. Go Green Has some diapers that are $8.99 they are a great on the pocket book and silky on the bottoms. They also released a new diaper the Champ which looks like it has more buttons for the waist for a more secure fit and a little heavier duty they currently retail at $14.95. They also come with an extra insert and leg guessets and an extra row for proper rise fit.

I like how these diapers fit on my little tester. I do have to add a doubler for over nights or longer stints since he is a heavy wetter.

Ever have a hard time finding your lip gloss. Personally mine ends up in the washing machine or the bottom of the diaper bag or somewhere that is still a mystery to me. Like a lot of people I know I have sensitive skin. But unlike the people I know mine goes a little deeper. I have Eczema. I find that using different products (Lotion, Face Wash and Face Moisturizer) can be a challenge because I have a CUPBOARD full of stuff I can't use and find that I have a hard time finding something I CAN use. My thoughts. I have found that their Moisturizer, PM Formula and Cleanser do not react against my skin but help restore some of the lost moisture that is missing.

The moisturizer I put on pretty much every morning and after showers to help restore and protect. It feels light weight and smooth unlike a lot of heavy creams that people with Eczema are prescribed and I feel like it helps keep that nice moisture for a while. Like I said I have uber dry skin so I have to reapply often but for just a regular dry skin this would most likely just get you through the day. If you have tried this I would love to hear your thoughts.

I like this cleanser because it cleans but doesn't leave the skin dry. It is formulated to hydrate while cleansing and definitely does the job right. After cleansing I follow up with the CeraVe PM formula for my face.

The P.M formula is like most P.M formulas in the sense it is a little thicker. This helps with the controlled release to keep hydrating through out the night. I personally use this as an AM and PM formula both. I like the smooth feel as it goes on and absorbs nicely not leaving a TACKY feel to your face.

CeraVe does have an AM formula if you like something lighter for your face that contains an SPF for the day.

Sunglasses in December? Say What?

Ok think about this. December is an off month right! WRONG! Up here is the land of the Cold (Wisconsin) and Snow, sunglasses are a must in the winter. Weird thing to say? Not really. Think about it the sun is still blazing and now it has a white fluffy surface to reflect off of. You think Summer is a season for Sunglasses then you haven't tried to drive down a highway with snow everywhere. It is pure blinding.

My Thoughts~
This Belt is AWESOME. I agree with most woman I hate wearing a pair of jeans and a nice fitted shirt to have this bulky belt buckle sticking out. It just doesn't leave that flattering profile you were going for with the fitted jeans and shirt. After I received this belt to try I put it on and just fell in love with the sleek profile. I actually was wearing my belt everyday. That my husband even noticed. He piped up "So why are you wearing that all the time? Is that your new favorite belt or something? All I could say was Yup and went along with what I was doing. It is funny when you like something so much that you actually have people notice that you are using it all the time. That is definitely a great review for this product.

I love that they now have a beautiful lace pattern one. They also have 4 designs for girls. And for the way this belt is made it is perfect for little girls. I mean I personally don't have a little girl but how hard is it to find a belt in such a small size? And traditional one with loops have to be upgraded as your daughter gets older. So what about the invisibelt. It has a wide range of size because of the sliding feature on the back that she will be in the belt longer.

My Thoughts~~~ Love Love LOVE..
I hate using String to floss I constantly make my gums bleed. Some of my teeth are snuggly next to the other that I have to wiggle wiggle wiggle till I get it past my teeth to get to the gum line and because of this battle I find that I end up using too much pressure which leads me to jamming the floss into my gums. Make It Fast Cook It Slow~ ends 12/15

Ok I want to introduce you to my NEW FAVORITE COOKBOOK!!!!! Make It Fast Cook It Slow is a compiled recipe book from Stephanie O'Dea. If you are not familiar with her just by name yet she wrote a blog where she cooked one Crockpot recipe a day for a full year. Her site is called A Year of Slow Cooking I came across her site in 2009 after her year of crock-potting and I regularly scour her site for recipes because I love love love love using my crock pot and I love love love love how she set up her recipes for review and her cookbook is set up the same.

You get your ingredient list and then get your how to, but my favorite part is you get her verdict. Things like oh we loved this the kids had x amount of bowls. Or we had a dinner party and no one knew it was crockpot a well loved recipe. I love verdicts and with 3 small kids I want some recipes that I know kids will like. This is my new go to recipe book because as I just said I have 3 small kids and my crockpot has become my best kitchen/dinner tool. The only downside I can speak of is that as a stay at home mom when you have something simmering int he crock pot all day you are starving till it is done. :D

Boodle Bottoms~ ends 12/15

For all those Cloth Diapering Mommas and Daddas out there.!! Having a hard time finding pants that fit your big cloth tushie baby? Solution Boodle Bottoms

These are pants that are made especially for cloth diapered babies. The fit so nice and snuggly around a cloth diapered bottom. I have found like probably most of you cloth diapering parents that it is just awkward trying to get those diapers in pants sometimes.

My husband and I run Boodle Bottoms while chasing after our two little ones, ages 4 and 1. We created Boodle Bottoms after going through our own cloth diaper journey. Here is how it all started...

When I was pregnant for the second time, I started meeting moms who cloth diapered. I loved the idea in concept, but who would want all that work? Aren't the diapers stinky? Who would want to add another load to wash when there is already so much to do as a mom? I started reading more about cloth diapers and fell in love with the concept of not throwing away thousands of diapers that take 500 years to decompose. I bought my first covers and started using high quality organic prefolds. My baby was so cute in them and I was helping the environment at the same time! Diaper washing just slid in as part of the routine, and I found the activity of hanging them to dry very calming. It was fun to experiment with different brands and covers. Who knew diapering could be so much fun?

There was one issue I was constantly trying to solve: finding pants that fit. The organic prefolds worked great because they were so absorbent (no leaks!), but they were also quite bulky. Most of my daughter's clothes were hand-me-downs from her sister who wore disposables, so they were very trim. If the pants fit around the diaper, they were always too long. Hmm, I thought, someone must make pants to fit cloth diapered babies. I started doing research, and there were no pants specifically designed for cloth diapered babies. Sure, some brands were better than others, but none that were just right. So our company began to help other parents cloth their babies in pants that fit just right. And in keeping with our family's motto to live lightly on the earth, we have committed to being as eco-friendly as possible, with every detail from the tags down to the shipping.

Our Verdict. I love them.. I have one pair and am always to see them freshly out of the dryer because I can then put them on Adam again. Definitely the best fitting pants I have found for cloth diapered Tushies. Usually you have to go a size up so that it fits over the diaper but then you are constantly rolling the bottom of the pants because they are way too long on the baby. Boodle Bottoms= PROBLEM SOLVED.

Part of the interest I had in wanting to play with these is that they offer such a wild array of things that you can possibly do with them. There are tricks that you can find from their website and gallery (http://zenmagnets.com/index.php?p=1_4_Gallery), but I just found it entertaining enough to just see what I could do on my own. They are surprisingly immersive.

In my day job, I work as a software developer trying to solve complex problems with code. I've read that taking walks, playing with desk toys, doodling, and general daydreaming actually help focus your brain on solving these problems more efficiently than trying to force yourself to come up with a solution. See this study for a reference (http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/05/090511180702.htm). I keep these near my desk as an excuse to be 'thinking about the problem'. I have found that I've stumbled upon "A Ha!" moments when playing with them, so not only are these fun to play with, but I think I'm actually a better thinker because of them. Imagine that!

These are really fun, though, so whether you want to excuse yourself for being more intelligent with or without them, you'll still have fun and find yourself immersed in them much like you were when you saw a lava lamp for the first time. Mesmerizing...

My Thoughts~ This is a heavy duty diaper. This diaper is a Pocket style diaper meaning you will stuff it before putting it on baby. The SD means that your diaper will come with an insert that has a pul outer layer for extra waterproofing and then 4 layers of soft absorbing bamboo and then inside you can stuff another 2 layers of absorption in the form of Bamboo Hemp.

I love the nice slim fit of this diaper on my son. Granted this diaper did bring the number 2s out of him it took me a while to get some good results of waterproofing and liquid saturation levels because every time I put it on my tester he immediately number 2ed I think that this is a great anytime diaper that can be used for overnights because of the many layers to collect a lot of number 1.

Once we got to test the liquid saturation this diaper can hold a lot of number 1. I put it on him before nap after drinking 2 sippies and we didn't have any leaks or wetness outside of the diaper when he woke up. Though we did have a VERY heavy and full diaper. This is an AIO OS diaper meaning this diaper will go from Birth to 35#s with your baby as he or she grows.
