My Thoughts~

Vital Ids come in a few different styles. You can get the Identification ids, Medical Ids, Sport Id, and Ids for your pets. I was given the opportunity to check out the Identification Ids. Belly Charms sent me 2 one for each of my big guys (4.5 and 2.5). Nothing is worse than the feeling you have when your child is missing after just being at your side a second ago. Your heart sinks and panic mode sets in. You start to see all those "Have You Seen This Child" Photos. You are searching and panicking at the same time. What if your child is still really young. You try to prep your child for what if situations. What if you get separated from mommy. But until they reach a certain age those What if situations can get really confusing.

My own lost child story- I was shopping with all 3 of my boys, my little boy in my front carrier and my second eldest in the cart which left my eldest age 3.5 holding my hand. When I went to look at an item of clothing I let go of his hand and asked him to stay by my side then I checked out the piece of clothing I was interested in. Decided it really wasn't me and put it back, looked down to grab up my son's hand and he was gone. Yup that Quick. And of course panic mode sets in. I started looking down the aisles and around went to find an associate when my son jumped out of the racks and said BOO. For me I was freaking out upset but for him this was a game of hide and seek. All of us mothers have a story or more about situations like this and some that even include a search for the child with workers. Trust me I have 3 boys I have a few stories.

When I came across Vital Ids I was so over joyed, what a great way to have your information with your child constantly.. We have inside each of the boys' ids, their name and birth date along with my name and cell number and my husbands name and cell number. So should they get lost and someone finds them there isn't a massive hunt for mom they can easily open the bracelet and find our name and number and contact us immediately. And honestly my kids do not leave home with out them on. I double check to make sure they haven't taken them off. The first few days of wearing them it was fun for them to pull them off and have mom put them back on but after day 2 it was like they were always there and they no longer mess with them.

This is what you will get in the mail and on the little inserts you use a fine tip permanent marker for your information.

Then Slide the id into the holder on the inside of the bracelet.

Next you put them on the kids.
