I found Snack Taxis one day while stumbling around the Internet on day. What a great little product. I am constantly looking for a way to save money, save on waste, and still have a great product. Snack Taxis meet all these. First you are saving money by reusing snack bags which inevitably reduces waste. And they are the perfect product to throw my 2 older son's snacks in and hand out in the car for a road trip or if we are running late out the door to go somewhere. I got to check out the snack sack and the sandwich sack. My husband is now using the sandwich sacks for his daily sandwich and loves that they are big enough for the wide pan bread I buy and I don't go anywhere with out my 2 snack sacks full of snacks for Isaac and Noah. I am going to be purchasing a few more for when my kids start taking lunches to school. With 3 boys I can't imagine how many plastic bags I will be saving from the landfill but I am betting it is a lot. These are definitely a must have on your Back to school list and for anyone who is backing a sack lunch.
Go to the site and order yourself some in your favorite fabrics.

From the Creator of snackTAXIS (from their site)
I invented snackTAXIs way back in 2003 as a way to stem the tide of plastic ziplock bags that flowed from our house to the landfill when our 3 kids started school! We pack over 500 lunches every year, and had definitely fallen prey to the easy appeal of the ziplock bag.
snackTAXIs are easy too- really! They are made in our home-based workshop by talented (and fun!) local sewers- we are committed to keeping our business local, and will never outsource our labor.
We hope you'll enjoy using snackTAXIs as much as we enjoy making them!

I think we've seen these at Bean Sprouts. So much more economical than using baggies all the time
